Lake Management Services
Gateway Lake Management LLC offers several lake management service options and will consult with you to determine if one of these is appropriate for your lake or pond:
- One time treatment — a short-term approach to reducing pond weeds or algae; vegetation will likely regrow later in the season
- Monthly treatment — includes an on-site visit to your lake or pond once per month with diagnosis and treatment as needed
- Season long treatment plan — includes an on-site visit to your lake or pond two times per month during the summer with diagnosis and treatment as needed
Depending on your situation, Gateway Lake Management LLC may be able to offer other services to address your lake and pond needs.

About the Biologist
A lifelong resident of Missouri, Joe is an avid outdoor enthusiast. Over the years, he has established and maintained wildlife habitats and ponds at numerous family farm properties around the state.
Joe graduated from Missouri State University with a degree in Wildlife Conservation & Management. He worked as a Fisheries Tech and Creel Clerk at Busch Wildlife Conservation Area with the Missouri Department of Conservation where he gained his first professional experience in lake, pond, fisheries and vegetation management.
Afterward, Joe worked as a biologist/applicator in the private sector where he treated hundreds of lakes and ponds throughout the Greater St. Louis area, including subdivision lakes, retention basins, homeowners’ ponds and farm ponds, corporate water features and drinking reservoirs.
Following his private sector experience, he established Gateway Lake Management LLC to help homeowners and businesses get more enjoyment from their lakes and ponds throughout the seasons.
